Founded in 1983, the APLCP was recognized as a non-profit organization in 1999. It is concerned with psoriasis in both its cutaneous and rheumatic forms, and has set itself the following key objectives:- to inform and educate patients by increasing the number of opportunities for meetings
- support psoriasis sufferers and those around them
- encourage medical research
- combat preconceived ideas and discrimination.
