Claude Le Peletier, seigneur d'Ablon, was a French statesman born in Paris on June 28, 1631, and died in Villeneuve-le-Roi on August 10, 1711. He was Provost of Paris from 1668 to 1676 and Controller General of Finances for Louis XIV from 1683 to 1689.
