The token shows the old (pre 2015) logo of the H.A.L.There are two values minted: 10 and 25.
In 1989, the Holland America Line was bought by Carnival Corp, thus becoming a US–owned cruise line headquartered in Seattle, Washington, United States. Similar tokens, in copper-nickel and in brass, were minted for Carnival Cruise Lines.
