The couple Hary (Henri) Neumann and Marguerite Flies took over the establishment in 1941 following the death of Henri Flies, Marguerite's brother. The couple ran the café together until 1961. The widow Flies continued to manage it until 1971.The Neumann-Flies café token was issued in 1959, 1961 and 1965, with a total print run of 1,500.
