(1834) William Seward Token, Low-15, HT-28, DeWitt-CE-1834-5, R.2, Brass. This token was likely a campaign token for William Seward during his unsuccessful bid for New York governor in 1834. He was finally elected to the post in 1838, and evenly served as President Lincoln's Secretary of State during the Civil War.
