HT-17 was likely made in 1837 and shows the vessel Constitution sailing in the calm waters the Whigs anticipated would be present after Webster became president in 1841. It turned out that the Whigs did not nominate Webster, but Gen. Harrison who won the election of 1840 and became president. R-1, over 1250 known.
