"Good For One Half Gallon of Milk" token from the "Shamrock Dairy" of Tucson, Arizona. The Dairy issued these tokens from around 1931 until 1948.In the olden days, milk and dairy products were actually delivered to your doorstep each morning. Rather than leave cash on the porch, people would buy these tokens from their "Milkman" and leave them in the empty bottles. They told the "Milkman" what to deliver when he came. -
