Plain with a circular section taken out at random. This was done so that these tokens could not be mixed up with normal 2 1/2 cent coins with the same diameter.
Comment
The tokens were made in 1958, by anodizing the aluminium tokens from the production 1949-1952 (Kooij GA090.2) in red, after a change in tarif.
In 1963 they were taken out of circulation, but many of the remaining tokens were punched with a large hole in the center to control the process of refunding. These demonetized tokens were sold or given as a souvenir.
