The Cool Crest Family Fun Center is an 8-acre park, which opened in 1950 on U.S. 40. It includes four miniature golf courses, go-karts, batting cages, a 7,000-square-foot video game arcade, an indoor playgound, a pizzeria and restaurant, and group party facilities. Cool Crest straddles the Kansas City and Independence city lines. They also maintain a four-hole miniature golf course at Kauffman Stadium.
