Establishment of the Jaeger family in Rue de la Gare, Eischen. The first owners were probably brothers Théodore and Jean Jaeger. Lucien Jaeger, Jean Jaeger's son, seems to have taken over the establishment in the 1940s. He ran the café until 1971. The establishment is generally referred to as "Café Jaeger". The terminology "Café de la Poste", which appears on the token, is almost never used.Weiller type token no. 46, commissioned by the intermediary Auguste Nimax and minted between 1937 and 1971 at the Fisch & Co workshop in Brussels.
