There is also a 50-centime token: http://numisvaldesalm.be/Liege.pdf, page 396http://www.arquebusiers.be/oie.htm L'Hôtel COLLETTE and l'Oie à l'Instar de Visé:
The Meuse should be seen in its configuration, not as a large river today, but as a wide river of yesteryear, not very deep, with many islands here and there. Geese live there in great numbers; it's their natural habitat, and you realize how large the flocks must have been when you see their numbers today, even though their habitat is very restricted. Imagine their growth rate when they had all the space they wanted, and above all, plenty of food. And what a food it was: fat grass, gorged with nutrients from alluvial deposits and the unpolluted waters of the Meuse. At the time, therefore, it was an inexpensive and readily available food for the locals, who easily raised them, as they did in all the villages along the river.
Goose-breeding was particularly common on the islands in the middle of the river, a practice that lasted until the early 20th century, when all these islands disappeared with the construction of dams. Goose could be found in every restaurant, and Visé was once a tourist town. ... Next door (to the post office), the Hôtel des Touristes, which later became the Hôtel Collette. My neighbor, Mme Nicolas-Hollard, whom everyone called Bobonne, cooked goose the Visé way. She would never give away her recipe, but would be happy to cook it for you at home. ...
