In 1957, Jean Frieseisen and Catherine or Ketty Schuh took over the first café in Colmar-Berg. They ran the café for 2 years. Jean Frieseisen seems to have gone bankrupt with this establishment. On February 16, 1962, they took over La Vieille Forge, which until then had been run by Armand Juncker. The hotel-restaurant had an automatic bowling alley installed in 1957. Following the death of his partner in 1966, Jean Frieseisen continued to run the establishment for many years.Weiller type token no. 50, struck at the Fisch & Co workshop in Brussels. This token was first struck in an edition of 1,000 in 1963. A second issue of 2,000 was made in 1965.
