11th Infantry New Hampshire Volunteers Dog Tag. Brass, 27.5 mm. Civil War dog tag issued to F.E. Badger (Frederick E. Badger) of Warner, New Hampshire, who enlisted on Aug. 12, 1862, as a private. He was mustered into E Company, New Hampshire 11th Infantry on Aug. 29, 1862. Badger died Jan. 8, 1863, in Washington, D.C.
