In 1923, Corsican-born Paul Gadefaix took over management of the café-restaurant-hotel at 12 avenue de Bouvines in the 11th arrondissement until 1933. It should be noted that the n°15 engraved on the token is an error, and that the establishment was actually located at n°12.
