The Wolwelange couple Nicolas Hoffmann and Marguerite Kayser bought the establishment on November 26, 1932. Following Marguerite Kayser's death in 1964, Nicolas Hoffmann ran the café for a further 3 years.
The café was located near the former Bigonville-Holtz railway station in Wolwelange.

Nicolas Hoffmann had 3 different tokens issued, the present type being the last in the series.
