It was a café-restaurant bought in 1912 by an Italian family, the Cristinas. It was first Edouard Cristina who ran the ball, and then Ambroise Cristina towards the end of the 1920s. The company, located at 15 rue des Vertus in the 3rd arrondissement, was later taken over by Drevet and Moesch, who also produced ball tokens in their name.
