Johann Albrecht Dorn was Master Engraver from 1732 to 1783.Augustus III of Poland, born in Dresden on October 17, 1696 and died in the same city on October 5, 1763, member of the House of Wettin, son of Elector of Saxony and King of Poland Frederick Augustus, was King of Poland and Grand Duke of Lithuania from 1734 to 1763, and, under the name Frederick Augustus II of Saxony, Elector of Saxony from 1733 to 1763, as well as Margrave of Misnie and Count Palatine.
Through his daughter Marie-Josèphe, he was grandfather to French kings Louis XVI, Louis XVIII and Charles X, and through his daughter Marie-Amélie, grandfather to kings Charles IV of Spain and Ferdinand I of the Two Sicilies, as well as to Holy Roman Empress consort Marie-Louise of Spain. Maurice de Saxe, Marshal of France, is his adulterous half-brother.
