Comment
"Eintopfsonntag" (One-pot dish on Sunday) was a propaganda action introduced by the Nazi Party on October 1st 1933, meant to show solidarity with the community and help the ones in need during the winter months ("Winterhilfswerk") The idea was that one designated Sunday a month each German family will eat an "Eintopf" meal (mostly a stew) instead of a rich, multicourse lunch or supper. The difference in the ingredients cost was donated as a charity, collected by the "Blockwarten"-Neighbourhood wardens). After the Anschluss, the propaganda was continued in Austria.
Two coin denominations are known: 50 Groschen and 1 Schilling
