Printer: National Manufacturing Company

These tokens were the same size as milk bottle caps made by the same company. The first pieces were printed on the cardboard already prepared for milk bottle stoppers. These first pieces have the word SANITARY and a patent date stamped into the reverse. Because of the size, the tokens were called, among other names, milktops.
