Comment
Only the 5-centime token is shown in Lucien Lariche's book (no. 20).The origin of the ball's name dates back to 1888, when a restaurateur decided to set up treehouses to serve food and drink to his customers. The establishment became known as "Au vrai arbre". This original initiative gave ideas to the competition in the Robinson district, with the creation of guinguettes: "Au grand arbre" and "l'Arbre des roches".
