Comment

The Conway mint ran for a brief time in 1861, producing gold coins of 2 1/2, 5 and 10 dollars during the gold rush in the area. This 'restrike' token was also struck in goldine and copper. Robert Bashlow is best known for his Confederate cent 'restrikes' produced in the early 1960's.
