Humboldt Cabinet Co. was owned by 2 brothers and a partner. Owned and operated by the Larsen brothers, Lars and Arne and their partner O.G. Johnson. The last listing of information I can find for the shop under the last owner Lars Larsen was a Christrmes greeting for the city from Lars and the Shop. 1962. Lars was born in Norway in 1895 making him 67 years old when he made the last newspaper ad. He passed away in 1974.In the 1970's a local business man and historian purchased the building. Norton E. Steenfott. He had a token made using the same obverse as this token. On the reverse he put his name and a date of 1928. Which I believe was the date the Humboldt Cabinet Co.was founded.
