Comment
Anthony McDonald operated a General store in the village of Cranbrook from about 1895 until he sold the business to A. Leitch & Son in 1914. Some of these tokens were counterstamped with an L, indicating they likely continued to be used by Mr Leitch.
Mr. McDonald also used tokens of 1, 10, 25 and 50 cents. All of these tokens were produced by Pritchard and Andrews Co. of Ottawa
