This token is not listed in Lucien Lariche's book "Les jetons de bal", 2006, editions ACJM. But it is listed in 25, 30, 35, 50, 75 centimes and 1 franc. The Magic City is a vast amusement park built in 1911 in the 7th district which offers a whole panoply of activities and a large ballroom. It was open every evening from 9 am to midnight and in the morning on Sundays and holidays. In 1928, the complex was reduced by half but the dance hall was preserved. After 1944, the ballroom survived without a sparkle and finally disappeared around 1947.
