octroi is an indirect contribution levied by municipalities on theimportation of goods into their territory.

On February 22, 1255, Henry III, Duke of Wrocław, issued what is known as a location document, granting Oleśnica town rights based on the Środa law. This ducat commemorates the 755th anniversary of this event.
On the obverse is the seal of the Duke of Wrocław, Henry III the White, and on the reverse is the coat of arms of Oleśnica.

Oleśnica (German: Oels) - a town and commune located in Silesia (Lower Silesia), Lower Silesian Voivodeship, Oleśnica County, situated on the left bank of the Oleśnica River (a tributary of the Widawa). Geographically, Oleśnica lies on the Silesian plain at an altitude of 150 m above sea level.
In the years 1975-1998, the town belonged administratively to the Wrocław voivodeship.
