Magic City is a vast amusement park built in 1911 in the 7th arrondissement, offering a wide range of activities and a large ballroom. Dancing took place every evening from 9 a.m. to midnight, and in the mornings on Sundays and public holidays. In 1928, the complex was halved, but the ballroom was preserved. After 1944, the ballroom survived without much fanfare, finally disappearing around 1947.
