Comment
The atomic symbol related to a small uranium deposit in the area. The hand with the cloud emitting is odd, perhaps it is to symbolize imagination, tho Lehighton is no technology or center for innovation.
The cabin and Conestoga wagon in flames with two Indian braves behind relate to its Moravian history; early religious settlers who were massacred by local Indians.
In very fine print across the obverse "Hand" design are the dates June 26th thru July 3 which was the period of the anniversary celebration.
