Traditionally gargoyles are depicted as the "water spewers" connected to roof gutters on European medieval and renaissance architecture.
However this fountain appeared to be more of a classical (greek) male figure with unknown context. This fountain may have been another non-rebuilt casualty of WW2 as little information is available.
