In 1995, the snack and potato chip manufacturer Matutano launched a new product on the market called Fistros, which consisted of a small bag of fried meat-flavored snacks, very similar to the mythical Boca-Bits. This new product was named after one of the most famous expressions of the Spanish humorist Chiquito de la Calzada, very popular at the time thanks to his appearance on the TV show Genio y figura, broadcast by Antena 3 between 1994 and 1995.
