Oficina Lina was a Chilean nitrate company that operated saltpeter businesses in the Antofagasta area, in the Atacama desert.
This kind of token was used as payment to the miners which worked at the nitrate mines until Chilean government banned this kind of salary or any other than Chilean legal issues in 1924.
