The Casino Municipal, built between the Boulevard de la Croisette and the Albert Edouard pier, was inaugurated in 1907. In 1919, Mary & Warnery considerably enlarged it on the seaward side. The result remained unchanged until 1931. Destroyed and rebuilt. This casino had, among other ancillary activities, a restaurant service (source: Elie et Reynckens 1994, Jetons métalliques des cercles et casinos français et coloniaux, p. 40).
