Comment

The Rock Island Centennial Bridge crosses the Mississippi river and connects Rock Island, Illinois with Davenport, Iowa, on US Highway 67. Construction began in 1938.  It is officially known as the Master Sergeant Stanley W. Talbot Memorial Bridge.

The bridge opened on July 12, 1940, and the original toll was 10 cents, which would indicate that this token was from the early years of the bridge. Tolls no longer are used on the bridge.
