"The Food Cooperative of the 6th Border Protection Battalion in Iwieniec with Responsible Shares" was established in January 1925. The shareholders were all officers and privates, both professional and active, of the Border Protection battalion and squadron. On the day of the establishment of the cooperative, the shares amounted to 541 PLN (in November 1925 - 1682 PLN). The 6th Battalion Cooperative has its headquarters in the town of Iwieniec, a branch in the barracks of the battalion reserve and three branches in border towns, places where company reserves are stationed. The functioning of the cooperative encounters significant difficulties due to the fact that the transport of goods to the cooperative is delivered from a railway station located approx. 60 km away. The local population also supplies goods in the cooperative's shops. in November 1925 the special fund, created from the income of the cooperative and earmarked for cultural and educational purposes and sports prizes, amounted to 990 zlotys. 50 groszy, and the reserve fund, created from the profits of the cooperative, amounted to 1,028 zlotys. 90 groszy. The value of the movables of the cooperative amounted to 388 zlotys. 60 groszy. The stock of goods as of 1 November 1925 amounted to 14,495 zlotys. 13 groszy. Of this amount, 8,352 zlotys. 33 groszy fell to creditors. Value of goods owned by the cooperative amounted to 6,142 zlotys. 80 groszy. On September 19, 1930, the previous name was changed to ""Food Cooperative of the 6th Battalion and 2nd Squadron of the Border Protection Corps in Iwieniec with Responsible Shares" - the Management Board was also registered in the persons of: Lieutenant Zygmunt Grzymała, Sergeant Franciszek Królak and Sergeant Franciszek Glapa, and members Sergeant Antoni Kryska, Sergeant Wacław Anglik and Platoon Master Anzelm Glugla.
