The city of Jerome is believed to be named after Jerome Kuhn, the son of W.S. Kuhn who had purchased North Side property from Frank Buhl.This wooden nickel was issued during the Golden Jubilee (50 year anniversary) of the North Side Slope, the location of the town of Jerome.
