The New Red Fox Club Inc. July 01 1968, located at 103 1/2 Capitol Street, Charleston, WV 25301. The New Red Fox Club was a risque' cocktail bar located in the heart of downtown Charleston, WV in a time of relative prosperity for the area. The scantly clad (Playboy Bunny) waitresses were a late night draw for the after hours crowd. Illegal gambling such as Tip Boards, Card Games, One Arm Bandits and other table games led to the eventual demise of the establishment when efforts were made to "clean up downtown" by local authorities.
