Los Angeles based Pacific Electric Railway Co. AKA as 'red cars'. A private mass transit company covering 4 counties, Los Angeles County, Orange County, San Bernardino County and Riverside County. The company operated electrically powered streetcars, interurban cars, and buses and held the honor of the largest electric railway system in the world in the 1920s.
