The National Convention sanctions the 5th Constitution State Policy on June 17, 1843, the same one that is sworn by the honorable representatives to the Convention and the President, on June 18, 1843.
The new Constitution was described as “Ordinance Military” for its autocratic characteristics, and commemorated with a 1 Sol cut coin medal.
