On November 19, 1826, the First Bolivian Political Constitution called Vitalicia, the same that was sanctioned by Congress in session from November 6, marking December 9 of the same year for its publication and swearing in the capitals of department of the Republic.
For this purpose and commemorating the institutionalization of the Republic of Bolivia, the Employees of the Public Administration of Potosí, ordered to coin a Coin Medal, worth 1 Sol.
