On October 15, 1829, President Santa Cruz, promotes the founding of the General Mining Court, administrative body based in Potosí, whose function was to regulate the mining industry.

 

The members of the Court ordered a Medal to be minted 1 Sol cut coin, in honor of the President of the Republic.
