The Golden Merlion gold-gilded silver ingot was released by the Singapore Mint and PAMP (Produits Artistiques Métaux Précieux) in 2018. The bar is in a proof-like finish and encapsulated. Each was given a unique serial number with a SG-prefix, along with a similarly numbered Certificate of Authenticity.These were presented in a black box, with a magnetically-latched clamshell cover. The front of the box featured the design on the Merlion in gold and the letters SG below on a series of wavy lines. The back was inscribed with The Singapore Mint and PAMP. The box is protected by a cardboard sleeve with the letters SG in a golden circle and Golden Merlion below.
PAMP SA (Produits Artistiques Métaux Précieux) is an independently operated precious metals refining and fabricating company and member of the MKS Group. It was established in 1977 in Ticino, Switzerland.
