Fred Mantz is still listed in the 1940 Census but with no profession; two of his sons (difficult to read their first names) are listed as bakery manager and laborer. He gave out tokens like this for years. Starting in 1897. This token from the later years in the business. As indicated from the census the one son may have continued the business or maybe went to work for another bakery.
