Aviation use at Offutt began in September 1918 during World War I and was originally named Fort Crook.
The token was used from 1942 to 1946 for one full fare to Fort Crook.
Later it was renamed in honor of World War I pilot and Omaha native 1st Lt. Jarvis Offutt in 1924.
