George Cannock (Previously of Cannock White & Co) was joined in 1848 by John Arnott to create Arnott, Cannock & Co.They sold men's clothes, dress materials, towellings, sheetings, linens, blankets, quilts and counterpanes from various locations in the United Kingdom & Ireland.
Cannock departed from the company around 1860 and the name changed to Arnott & Co.
