Apothecaries Weights used by Pharmacists until the late 1960's in counter-balance scales.Henry Troemner, German immigrant to Philadelphia founded a company in his name (1844) that made scales and balances of the finest quality. The company made scales for the U.S. mint in Philadelphia, as well as other Nations. The company is still in business today.
