Four petals, placed near the edges,
In the center the face value (1), filled in with horizontal lines, with the word "BROODKAART" written in a circular way around it.
Under the number, a short line, decorated in the center.

There are two versions of the obverse (Catalog numbers #6 and #7), and three versions of the reverse (A, B, and C) 

 

#6: Obverse with a long extended right leg of the second A in "ZAL”, that runs past the L.

 

#7:Obverse with a shorter extended right leg of the second A in "ZAL”, that runs until the end of the bottom stroke of the L.

 

 

A: Reverse with a “1” that is 11.4 mm tall long, that has a long slant line (6 mm) and a wide foot (7.25 mm). The five-petaled flowers in the corners rest on two petals.

 

B: Reverse with a “1” that is 11.4 mm tall long, that has a short slant line (5 mm) and a narrow foot (6.25 mm). The five-petaled flowers in the corners rest on two petals.

 

C: Reverse with a number that is 10.9 mm tall  and has a wide foot (7.25 mm). The five-petaled flowers in the corners rest on one petal.
