Ironbridge Gorge Museum Trust is an industrial heritage organisation which runs ten museums and manages 35 historic sites within the Ironbridge Gorge in Shropshire, England, widely considered as the birthplace of the Industrial Revolution. Wikipedia

These tokens have been based upon the old UK coinage and can be used to purchase items in the museum shops to give the person and experience of living in the Victorian era.

These tokens come in two types. The first ones have a filled in raised Britannia (more like the genuine coinage of the the period) unlike the flat outline Britannia (as pictured above). Unlike the Farthing and Penny tokens though the Half Penny token is the only one when both types have the H mint mark.

These tokens are available from the Victorian Lloyd's Bank on site in exchange for current British sterling (GBP).
